T-Mobile customers can now get one free premium drink — beer, wine, or spirits — on every eligible Delta flight, year-round. Here’s exactly how to claim it.

T-Mobile announced June 2 that its customers will receive one complimentary premium inflight drink on qualifying Delta Air Lines flights as a permanent, year-round benefit.

The perk extends free beer, wine, and spirits to main cabin passengers who would otherwise pay $9 to $12 per drink — an amenity that premium cabin travelers and Medallion elite members already receive at no cost. Eligible customers must link their Delta SkyMiles account to T-Mobile’s T-Life app at least 24 hours before a qualifying flight. Passengers must be 21 or older to redeem alcoholic beverages.

The announcement came as the centerpiece of T-Mobile’s inaugural “Member Month” campaign, marking the 10th anniversary of T-Mobile Tuesdays. It builds on an alliance that dates to January 2023, when T-Mobile and Delta launched free inflight Wi-Fi for all SkyMiles members — a deal that has since grown to encompass 60,000 Delta employee workflows running on T-Mobile’s 5G network.

“Delta is expanding its partnership with T-Mobile to introduce a new premium, onboard drink benefit for eligible T-Mobile customers,” a Delta Air Lines spokesperson said. “More information on how the benefit works and what to expect will be shared soon.”

T-Mobile Executive Vice President and Chief Marketing Officer Allan Samson said the launch reflects the company’s broader approach to customer value.

“T-Mobile Tuesdays helped redefine what customers should expect from wireless — real value beyond connectivity,” Samson said. “From day one, T-Mobile Tuesdays has delivered meaningful savings and relevant benefits that fit naturally into everyday life. And those weekly perks are just one part of a much bigger membership experience that delivers value year-round. From industry-leading travel benefits and streaming services on Us to exclusive savings, experiences and more, we’re always looking for new ways to give our customers more of what they love. Member Month is our biggest celebration of that commitment yet.”

How to Claim the Benefit

Redemption follows four steps. Customers must first confirm they hold a qualifying T-Mobile rate plan — most consumer and business plans with voice and data are eligible. Excluded are kids lines, government accounts, payday and paygo plans, select data-only plans, and T-Mobile Connect plans.

From there, customers link their Delta SkyMiles account to T-Mobile through the T-Life app — the all-in-one customer platform that replaced the original T-Mobile Tuesdays app — and attach their SkyMiles number to their Delta reservation. The account must be linked at least 24 hours before the qualifying flight. Once onboard, passengers may need to confirm eligibility via the T-Life app before the flight attendant provides the complimentary drink.

As of early June 2026, some T-Mobile customers reported that the redemption function was not yet active in the T-Life app. The benefit is expected to launch during the week of June 16, 2026, coinciding with T-Mobile’s Magenta Sky Lounge event in New York City. T-Mobile has encouraged customers to monitor the T-Life app for activation.

What’s on the Menu

The benefit covers beer, wine, and spirits only. Non-alcoholic beverages — soft drinks, juice, coffee, tea, and water — are already complimentary on Delta flights and fall outside the new perk.

Delta’s inflight alcoholic beverage menu includes Miller Lite at $9; Voodoo Ranger IPA and SweetWater 420 Extra Pale Ale at $11 each; and a spirits selection — BACARDI Superior Rum, BOMBAY SAPPHIRE Dry Gin, Buffalo Trace Distillery Bourbon Cream, Dewar’s White Label Blended Scotch Whisky, Tito’s Handmade Vodka, Jack Daniel’s Tennessee Whiskey, Lunazul Blanco Tequila, and Woodford Reserve Kentucky Straight Bourbon — all priced at $11. Wine options are Une Femme Chardonnay, Une Femme Red Blend, and Une Femme Sparkling Brut, each at $12. Menus are subject to change and may vary by route.

Delta SkyMiles credit cardholders can also claim a free premium snack alongside their complimentary drink through June 30, 2026 — a separate, time-limited promotion layered on top of the permanent T-Mobile benefit.

Why Main Cabin Passengers Stand to Gain

Delta already provides complimentary alcohol to First Class and Delta One passengers on all domestic flights, and to Comfort+ passengers on routes of 350 miles or more, as well as to Medallion elite members on select flights. The T-Mobile perk specifically targets main cabin economy travelers, the largest and most price-sensitive segment of Delta’s passenger base, granting them an equivalent benefit through their wireless subscription rather than a fare upgrade or elite status.

For a traveler who flies Delta 10 times per year, the cumulative value of the free drink benefit could exceed $90 to $120 annually.

The benefit arrives amid a notable shift in Delta’s short-haul service policy. Effective May 19, 2026, Delta eliminated complimentary non-alcoholic beverage and snack service for main cabin and Comfort+ passengers on all flights under 350 miles — approximately 450 daily operations. First class passengers on those routes continue to receive full service. Whether the T-Mobile perk applies to those routes has not yet been confirmed. Delta’s spokesperson noted that details “will be shared soon.”

Partnership History: From Wi-Fi to the Bar Cart

T-Mobile and Delta’s commercial relationship formally began in January 2023 with the announcement of free inflight Wi-Fi for all Delta SkyMiles members. By February 2023, the benefit had rolled out to most domestic mainline flights, with more than 700 aircraft equipped. Delta subsequently named T-Mobile its preferred mobility partner. By the end of 2024, the Wi-Fi benefit had expanded to international and regional routes.

T-Mobile also sponsors free inflight Wi-Fi for passengers on Alaska, Hawaiian, and Southwest Airlines through their respective loyalty programs.

T-Mobile Tuesdays at 10

T-Mobile Tuesdays launched in 2016 as a weekly customer benefit program. Over a decade, T-Mobile members have unlocked 1.4 billion offers from more than 500 brand partners, redeemed 240 million gas savings offers, received more than $1 billion in value through free MLB.TV subscriptions, and watched more than 15 million hours of movies through discounted tickets.

“Member Month” extends throughout June 2026 with a rotating weekly lineup: a $1.99-per-gallon gas offer at select Shell stations in Los Angeles, Houston, and Chicago during the week of June 9; the T-Mobile Magenta Sky Lounge event headlined by Grammy Award-winning artist T-Pain — described by T-Mobile as a “Delta Million-Miler” — in New York City during the week of June 16; up to 40% off hotels and rental cars, up to $2,500 in T-Mobile Cruise Credits, and free Wi-Fi on Royal Caribbean cruises booked through T-Mobile Travel during the week of June 23; and the launch of T-Mobile Dining Rewards, offering 5% cash back at restaurants and 10% every Tuesday, alongside a free 12-month DashPass by DoorDash for eligible members, during the week of June 30.
